Description
This traditional procession takes place in the streets and countryside of Ham-sur-Heure on the 1st Sunday after 15 August. Recognized by UNESCO as the intangible cultural heritage of humanity and reflecting an unmistakable traditional character, this walk of the Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse evolves at the rhythm of drums and fifes. It is a must-see for lovers of the folklore of Entre Sambre and Meuse.
Sunday highlights: 11am: departure of the walkers for the formation of the procession. 18h: in the courtyard of honour of the castle, presentation of commemorative medals.
