Description
The Espace Chimay shop offers a wide range of “Chimay” products. Like the beer, Chimay cheese is produced at the abbey. It is therefore recognised as a “Trappist” product and made using local produce. The milk for the cheese also comes from farms neighbouring the cheese dairy. Over the years, the range has expanded, notably offering cheeses washed with Chimay beer. The Chimay Trappist beer was created in 1862 to meet the monks' needs. Its character and qualities are appreciated the world over. Chimay Dorée, Chimay Rouge, Chimay Triple or Chimay Bleue — you just need to choose your favourite! Other products bear the effigy of the famous Trappist monk such as clothes, hats, glasses, cheese bells, pens, kitchen packs, mini-wooden boxes, tea towels, etc.
