Stone and water

Description

Ham-sur-Heure and its charismatic castle, surrounded by lush grounds, lie in a basin formed by the Eau d’Heure. This route follows this winding river and its steep-sided valley all the way to Walcourt, an ancient medieval town. You then head back to the typical little villages before reaching Philippeville, an ancient star-shaped city built by Vauban, whose underground passages can still be visited! Enjoy a local beer in Philippeville’s beautiful square.
