Description
This family-friendly route leads cyclists in the footsteps of the uniformed processionists carrying arms, escorting St. Rolendis and St. Oger every Whit Monday. Featuring the traditional highlights of the Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse Processions, the tour offers open views of the countryside, typical village centres and forest crossings.
The route includes the church of St. Michael in Gerpinnes, the shrine and tomb of St. Rolendis, the Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse Museum of Traditional Processions, Gerpinnes Mill and the Chapel of St. Oger (Hanzinne).
