In the footsteps of Charles V and Napoleon

In the footsteps of Charles V and Napoleon

Description

Walcourt, an ancient mediaeval town whose ramparts are still partly visible, is impressive with its Basilica of Saint-Materne and its magnificent stained-glass windows. The rivers Eau D’Yves and Eau d’Heure shape this hilly region with its magnificent views. Stop off in the Froidchapelle countryside and at the Eau d’Heure Lakes for some water sports or simply a change of scenery. The mediaeval town of Beaumont is imbued with a rustic and bucolic atmosphere.
