In the Hantes valley

Description

The charming town of Beaumont and its Salamandre tower are famous for Napoleon’s visit to the region. From the top of the Salamandre tower, there is a magnificent view over the Hantes valley and the Beaumont countryside. At Merbes-le-Château, take a quiet stroll through the Labuissière nature reserve, where you must keep a low profile to watch large birds, frogs, insects and more. Not forgetting the Tarpans – charming, strong wild horses.
