Practical information
Description
This citadel which seems to protect the village was once a funerary church for the monks of the abbey, then a parish church and finally, a collegiate church. A major part of its structure dates back to the Carolingian period. It harbours many treasures: a crypt with curious funerary paving stones, a sarcophagus, Roman capitals and sculptures from various periods. Don’t forget to stop at the Jardin de Folcuin: a well-laid-out medicinal herb garden. Audio-guide suitable for kids. AudioGuide is available at the tourism office.
